the arena was a mess, the performance only 90 min
NYO Jazz music, I love. I purchased tickets the day they went on pre-sale when I saw that NYO Jazz would be performing in my area. But 3 months later when we actually get to see the show, NYO Jazz only performs for 90 minutes. No warm-up acts. We were in and out in about the same amount of time as a movie. No intermission with a video of past interviews, performances, montages. He was classy, energetic, fun, and still has an incredible singing voice, BUT I expected more. The stage was supposed to be set up for "End Stage" seating. EVEN WORSE was the arena management, who made the event a complete mess!! Our seats were section C, row 4. Section C was supposed to be left front, 4 rows from the stage. Utterly ridiculous. Instead, the Big Sandy Superstore arena adjusted the stage because of low ticket sales, opened the doors 30 minutes before the show and made many ticket-holders (including us) stand in line to get reassigned seats. THE CONCERT STARTED BEFORE WE AND MANY OTHERS COULD GET NEW TICKETS AND FIND OUR SEATS!
